How Can I Help?
 

B.J. has no medical insurance and it appears that the woman that hit him has no insurance as well.  (She has not turned over any proof of insurance to the police or to B.J.'s family.)  Obviously B.J. is incurring a lot of medical expenses.  And it is very important that B.J. continue to receive the care that he needs to save his life and get better.  A fund has been created for B.J. at BB&T.  It is called "The Lindsay Bolar Foundation for B.J. Berkhouse".  (Lindsay is B.J.'s girlfriend.)

There are many different ways that you can help out.  Here is how:

You can drop off a donation at any BB&T branch, and simply ask to make a donation to "The Lindsay Bolar Foundation for B.J. Berkhouse".

You can now make a donation online! 

Simply click on the Donate button below and enter any amount that you would like to donate, to help pay for B.J.'s recovery. 

The funds received are set up to be deposited to the BB&T fund for B.J.

We are running this through PayPal, but a PayPal account is *not* required to donate.  You can use this link to donate using a PayPal account if you wish, or the link will also accept any major credit card, bank card, or even e-check or bank transfer.

in St. Albans, WV has out a fundraising jar for B.J.  They are located at 1010 6th Avenue, St. Albans.  So please consider dropping by Mayberry's and having a nice meal, putting something in the jar, and thanking Mayberry's for being kind enough to help out.
